PROJECT MANAGER CONSTRUCTION QUALITY
We are looking for a Project Manager or Project Engineer with Solid experience in Construction Quality, Construction Assurance (QA) /Quality Control(QC) for Large industrial or Commercial Projects for a long-term assignment local to MetroDetroit.
- Support start-to-finish construction project(s), including installation of building foundation, structural steel, Mechanical, Electrical, & Plumbing (MEP) Systems, and infrastructure
- Support the development, implementation, and management of a QA/QC control plans across all phases of the construction project
- Attend Project Meetings, create reports, and maintain Quality Related documentation
- Inspect and verify the quality of site development, civil work, foundations, structural steel, and MEP systems
- Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, industry standards, clients' and manufacturers' requirements, and project specifications
- Responsible for filing and maintaining all quality documentation and files
- Work closely with contractors and subcontractors to enforce quality standards, provide technical support and guidance, and resolve any issues that may arise on site.
- Review and evaluate Construction & MEP drawings, Equipment Layouts, and Installation procedures for completeness and compliance
QUALIFICATIONS
- Min 5+ years of Construction Quality (QA/QC) of Industrial and/or Large Commercial Projects
- Experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining Construction Quality Standards
- Solid understanding and knowledge of Civil and MEP Systems, including installation, documentation, and commissioning.
- Experience working and communicating with Engineering, Contractors, and Trades.
- Excellent Communication skills, verbal & written.
- Knowledge of MS Office, CAD System(s), Procore, Bluebeam
