We are seeking a specialized Network Engineer to design, implement, and support Industrial Control Networks (ICN) within our manufacturing facilities. This role requires a hybrid professional who can bridge the gap between Operations Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT). You will manage Cisco-based industrial infrastructure while utilizing C++ and C# to develop custom drivers, automation scripts, or data integration tools for manufacturing execution systems (MES).
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Management: Deploy and maintain Cisco Industrial Ethernet (IE) switches, Stratix hardware, and ASA/FTD firewalls in a ruggedized factory environment.
- Software Development: Write and debug C++ for performance-critical networking protocols and C#/.NET for Windows-based manufacturing applications and HMI (Human Machine Interface) integrations.
- Protocol Integration: Ensure seamless communication between Ethernet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus, and standard TCP/IP.
- Security & Compliance: Implement "Cell/Area" zone segmentation following ISA/IEC 62443 standards to protect factory assets from cyber threats.
- Automation: Develop custom APIs to extract real-time telemetry data from sensors and controllers for predictive maintenance dashboards.

- Networking: Cisco CCNP (Enterprise or Collaboration) or CCNA Industrial. Deep knowledge of VLANs, NAT, and Multicast in a factory setting.

- C++:For low-level system communication and embedded networking tasks.

- C#: For developing desktop tools, middleware, and interacting with SQL databases.
- OT Platforms: Familiarity with Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley) or Siemens hardware that interacts with Cisco backbones.
- Security: Experience with Cisco TrustSec, Identity Services Engine (ISE), and CyberVision.
- Candidate must be able to work on-site at least 3 times per week (Monday, Wed, & Friday)
- No relocation is available for this position.
- The candidate must be eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance.
