Job Description:
We are looking for a Tooling Engineer to Provide Support to a launch team on-site at the client's manufacturing Facility
Will be responsible for tracking and documenting the status of deliverables like Automation, assembly tooling, conveyance, and Robotic Systems
Work with OEM Tooling Engineers, Suppliers, and Installation teams to expedite equipment
Provide time lines for deliverables / tools-on-dock and Support Project Data information to the Scheduling team
Travel to the Suppliers' fabrication facilities, and review tooling build progress and update progress reports
Work closely with GC to ensure that the Assembly equipment is on-site at the manufacturing facility per the deliverables Schedule
Requirements:
Previous OEM Tooling Launch Experience is a Must, min 10 years
Must have solid experience with Vehicle Assembly Tooling
Must be able to travel to Build Shops - Mostly in Michigan
This is an immediate need 6 month+
